Silversmith

As an artist and silversmith, Mathew Citrenbaum has created custom jewelry and objects for many satisfied clients over the years.

He founded his first design shop, BENTFORMS, in 1994 and later produced his own line of jewelry for retail as well as high quality production logo jewelry with his CKY Jewelry Line for discerning fans of the acclaimed rock band CKY.

Clients include: musician and producer Chad Ginsburg (Rudy & Blitz, CKY) who commissioned a custom leather wristband, and pro skateboarder and MTV Jackass reality series alum, Bam Margera, who commissioned a custom "Heartagram" hood ornament for his Mercedes S55. Seen here featured on Bam's MTV Cribs episode.

Teacher

As a teacher since 1994, Mathew Citrenbaum has helped aspiring artists to develop and hone their craft.

Mat reveals this knowledge in clever, results-oriented instruction. Mat adds, “My primary goal for a new student is immediate results. A first time student can expect to produce a sterling silver ring in under 3 hours. My advanced students are guided through a technical progression encouraging them to design beyond their skills.”

Inventor

Mat was awarded his first patent in 2002 for an ergonomic tool grip and then again in 2005 for a skateboard rack.

His uncanny ability to restore and adapt existing pieces and find creative solutions to a problem have made Mat an invaluable addition to many creative teams. Mat has helped clients with everything from development and prototyping to production. “My ongoing obsession with modifying things to better suit my needs or customizing stuff that people bring me to alter inspires me to create things from tools to house wares. I often alter completely unrelated objects until they take on a completely new function.”
